Honoured today to watch as the flags at @CityofPG Hall were lowered for #QueenElizabethII.
As I as walking up, I noticed a young man coming from another direction. He was listening to live coverage on his phone. I asked if I could stand near to listen, and he said yes.
We stood there for 20 or 30 minutes, tears streaming down our faces.
The Queen is dead, long live the King.
